The Cinematic Arts Redemptive Entertainment (CARE) Awards provide an opportunity for artists globally to be recognized for their outstanding achievements in film, screenwriting, and Music. We celebrate compassion through film and honor empathy in motion.
The 2023 CARE Awards featured live screenings, Networking, Workshops, and delightful entertainment and was held at the historic Blennerhassett hotel in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
This year, we return with another exciting weekend of screening and networking! More details will be coming as we get closer to the 2024 event, slated for November 8th-10th.
The CARE Awards is a free-to-attend festival that highlights redemptive and dynamic independent film. Our weekend festival screens films that demonstrate an Appalachian connection, through the people involved in making them, their filming location, or their subject.
We strongly believe that the art and craft of filmmaking help connect us and offer avenues for insight, as well as entertainment. We share amazing stories: animated, documentary and narrative films, music videos, spoken word productions, and even web series.
